How I have managed to get this far without throwing an astrology term in, I'm not sure. But there it is, and I have a feeling that coming up with titles for the entries is going to be a lot easier!
Before I begin, I should mention that I was playing the game with a friend came over. He asked, "Are there really vocaloid songs playing in each encounter?" and I realized that's the sort of information about Demon Gaze that probably doesn't get out. So, yes, there are vocaloid songs playing for all the non-boss encounters.
I'll discuss the Jupiter fight after the break.
The demon wasn't so much of a problem, but getting to Jupiter was. You clear out all the circles and then she's in the treasury. The treasury has a set path that you need to go on, and if you take a wrong step, you get teleported back to the beginning. That's annoying, but it's not too bad (and there are Gazer notices people have left to help with the path).
I geared up for a fight and then...the game basically goes, ha, ha, let's not have the fight here, let's have it somewhere else.
So, I have to go to the clock tower. Fortunately, there are no flying medusa heads like another famous series nor do I have to avoid combat with everything like a less famous series. What I do have to do is fight Jupiter before the fifth bell rings. You have to climb up ladders and fall off platforms to find her. I don't think there's a real time limit and the bells just sound when you get to certain points, but I'm not sure.
Jupiter herself is a bandaged girl reminiscent of Rei Ayanami. The fight wasn't difficult because I summoned Mars and then put her in enrage mode. Mars didn't do that much damage, but every bit helps, and I was able to win shortly after Jupiter summoned her second set of minions. In fact, I beat Jupiter and then had to deal with those minions; normally they block for the demon.
I teleported back to the inn to save and quit. I'll deal with the usual follow up wackiness when I have some more time.
