Barf me out the door!

This post's title comes from ACTUAL DIALOGUE in the game.  Yes, people got paid to write that.  A screenshot with the offending text comes after the break.

She is talking about putting miso on a banana.  Not at all what you're thinking.
In the lead up to a boss fight with one of the knights, our giant paintbrush-wielding artist accidentally shoves Kohaku's doubt shard into her by tripping.  No, she wasn't being moe, Beryl only wants to be the royal painter for money, so that trip was intentional.

After the boss fight with the knight who will undoubtedly return later, Kor manages to yammer at Kohaku enough to turn her doubt into trust.  This also has the benefit of getting her brother to start treating Kor a little better.  But he and his sister are still responsible for getting Kor's grandfather KILLED.

Going back to town, Kor blabbers on about the power of trust to the head merchant, but since he isn't a teenage girl who's had her spiria shattered, it does nothing.

The PCs then go on a boat to make their way to the main continent.  At this point, Tales series tradition would mean that one of the PCs gets seasick, but Tales of Hearts R isn't like that!  Two PCs get seasick!  So original!  Not formulaic at all!
