Beat Ether Mirage and Demon Gaze going on hiatus

After giving it several tries and adjusting the difficulty, I was finally able to beat Ether Mirage.  The problem with that boss is that it heals an unreasonable amount of hit points every three turns (changing the difficulty meant it merely healed 4800 hit points as opposed to 5400).  Once that boss was beaten, exploring the last two screens of the dungeon was easy.

Then, the final boss fight came.  More details about that after the jump.

Coming into it, there was a cutscene where our weapon store clerk bravely tried to deal with his mother-turned-evil-albino-loli.

This wasn't adequate when Jet told it to Spike, and it isn't adequate now.

Naturally, this meant I got to fight Luna before Sol.  So right off the bat, we're looking at back-to-back boss fights with no time to heal in-between.  Thanks, Demon Gaze!

Sol keeps summoning super enraged forms of the demons while constantly throwing out lots of damage.  Also, he heals a lot every few turns.  Counterattack percentage is extremely high if not 100%.  Basically, it's taking the game and doing everything to unfairly kill the party.

At this point, it doing the battle over and over just wasn't any fun.  As I play these games to have fun, I decided that I was going to stop playing Demon Gaze and move onto another game.  While that leaves the door open for going back to it at some point, realistically, it probably means I'm finished with the game.
